Looks sick. Nice to see some new, good quality pics of your car. I just say paint the front valance, and fix the sag. Looks like the side panel on the pass side rear doesn't fit right either.

    RISING EDGE

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Looking good Eric! Much better on those 17's than the other 16's you had.
Keep it up, but fix that rubbing and while your back there try to get that side panel to match the wheel arch better, it will help the look imensely!

Call me back one of these days bro, did you get my message a few weeks back?

does the e39 mirror retain its auto-dimming?

very nice Eric. those MVR's look 100% better than the other rims you had. I had the facko MVR's and they just didn't fit right on my car, but those look great on your car!

After I get the front spoiler resprayed I am going to fix the sag. Right now I actually kinda like it without the clips because it makes removal a 20 second job. With the proper clips, I'd need a lift.

The rear passenger side panel I just noticed a few days ago. I have no idea why it has started to retreat from the body. I didn't used to do that. Again, something I need to look at.

The 18 ACS are not ready to go on. At et43 they fit PERFECT in rear but contact the front strut. I'm still not sure if I want to run spacers up front to fit them.

Never got your message. My phone has been acting up recently so that concerns me. I'll give you a call later today.

              ColdAccord:
The V1 is ON MY mirror. That is not the display unit, it is the regular V1 detector. Reception is ideal and it almost looks factory. For those who say laser detectors are worthless...not the V1. I've now twice encounter situations where it caught laser reflection from up ahead and gave me the chance to slow down.

              Bryson:
The E39 mirror is a slam dunk. Just have a windshield shop cement on the special clip and buy a used mirror off ebay. One of my favorite mods...no more shaking at speed.

I don't understand how you crammed 245/40/17 up front with stock fenders and your car so low. I tried 245's on the rear and it was no go. Again, once I have the fenders pulled I want to run 235 or 245 all around.

We have to find out about that spindle as 4 people on this board are having the centering problem. Could it be from a 5 series?

              Devon:
Pictures were taken in Tempe near Tempe town lake. Check out AZBMW.org for local meets. I usually attend.

The kit is genuine. Imported from the UK.

              Chris:
I don't like auto dimming mirrors so I went with a self adjustable one. My tint + the auto dim feature would make the mirror useless to me at night. I need to spot light bars after dark too you know...

              Eric:
I thought long and hard about the 18" fake MVR's but decided to go for 17" genuine ones and buy some other 18's. Still not sure if I want to make the ACS fit or look at Hamman, Iforged, or M parallel.

                Oh yeah:

I'm still waiting for centercaps on the Driver side MVR's. Those two are brand new. The other two are lightly used (one has minor rash).

What to you guys think about wheel lugs? Polished or black?

How well do those LTW rims fit? And what suspension do you have? How different does the M50 feel over the M20?

Also, how long, or how much, would that 'painting the wide moldings and the front stuff(the black parts) all to the body color?"

How do you think an MtechIII kit would look if i didnt paint any of the black the body color?

also, where did you get those LTW rims?

It is an MTech II kit. The whole kit is supposed to be body color. There are no "black" bits.

I have a standard e39 mirror sitting around and I might just have it put on, the only thing I don't like is the lack of maplights.. I use them all the time.

I fit 245/35/17 up front though I'm sure I can fit 245/40/17 as I had a little bit more clearance with the ground controls. When I pick up another pair of rear m double spoke 2s I'm going to run a 255 or 265/35/17 (If I can fit it onto the rim  )

I'll look into the spindles, that would be an awesome find if it fixes the problem

can you shave the hubs on M parallels enough to fit onto our cars? (~20mm, that's a lot) Or are there replicas, I'd LOVE to have some of them on my car

How is your brake bias? Are you using an e30 MC?
