What i find odd is that it has tell tale sings of an m3. The engine bay has the reservoir in the "battery tray" and the m3 harness cover, the antenna is on the roof, etc. I mean someone could have added all that stuff but it would be totally un-necessary. Could it be an imported m3 that someone registered as a 318 to pay cheaper taxes?

I would be willing to bet it was wrecked and re-titled, that would explain all the M3 parts, but the beaten core support and mis-matched bumber, plus the 318i stickers. If someone did all that awesome work to the rear of the car and did the detail work on the engine bay, there's no way the rest of the front end would be so rusty and bashed.

Either way, Crappy Real M3 > Incomplete Fake M3.
