I wasn't flipping shit, I was asking a legitimate question. Doing things for looks here usually takes precedence over functionality or doing them properly anyway, nothing new here. :p

the roads you drive on must be pretty smooth. I don't think H&R race lower another 3/4" though do they?

It's probably less work and has better results... I thought H&Rs were marked with a cut line anyway?

haha Chris. Looks is exactly why I did this yes and I dont mind running these tiny ass tires. I'm poor anyways. And if I ever want to get bigger rims/tires I can get another set of strut housings for $100 anyways. Do they seriously have a cut line or are you just making fun of me? :)

I'm kind of curious myself, because I just installed a fresh cutoff wheel on my die grinder.

            jk

But yeah, you can get a new set of strut housings for next to nothing. Heck, you could even go to the GC coilover setup using your housings if you really wanted to.

Why did you decide to do this rather than drop hats? Just curious.

I did this because I didnt want to spend money on drop hats. Heeter, I need to find time to drive over to your place. I'm working every day this week! I should have my schedule for next week tomorrow or Wednesday.

Yeah, cutting and hackjobbing a major suspension component is a great idea. Seriously, save some money and buy drop hats and/or take your spring pads out. Do you just love that whirring noise you get going around corners when the tire hits the spring seat or do you not actually drive?

Just curious though, wouldn't a die grinder be better?

with 195 tires and bottlecaps hitting the spring seat isn't much of a problem :p

I think it looks great, you'll learn that an e30's suspension blows any way you modify it.
