hahahahahahahahaha hackjobbing? I'm not the one who welded this. The guy that welded this builds chopper frames from scratch. I totally trust his ability to weld a structural component in a vehicle. The weld on the perch looks much better and wider than the factory weld did.
Taking spring pads out lowers the car a minimal, probably not noticable amount in front.
The purpose of doing this was to NOT spend money on drop hats. I've only seen 10-15mm drop hats which is less than 3/4". 15mm is only 0.59".
I don't get a "whirring" noise from anything. I have 195/65 tires on a 14" rim. There is over 1" of clearance between tire and perch. Even if I had less, when cornering hard, the space between the tire and the perch doesn't change. The distance between the tire and the fender changes. Think before you make a post calling someone a dumbass when you make a stupid assumption like the perch and the tire getting closer to eachother when cornering hard.
I drive on the street to work and back. This is my daily driver. Why does everyone who drives on the street have to corner hard and "drive"? Why can't I just drive comfortably from point A to point B and enjoy driving my e30? Maybe I should just go buy a camry if thats all I want to do right? Now, lets hear your response flying fiddle player :)
