    My 86 325e

UPDATES EVERY WEEKEND: LOOK ON PAGE 2!
So 2 days I got a phone call from my father saying he found the car of my dreams. So I show up at his garage to find a beautiful 1986 bmw 325e with only 1 previous owner and only 82,000 miles. I quickly made up my mind that even though an automatic for 900 it was a steal, The car is literally 99% rust free and runs like new. So I thought today was a good day to start working on it and bringing it back to looking even better.
Here are some general pics of the car before the work started.

Then the work began, First up was an oil change.
    New oil filter ;)

Next the drivers side motor mount was in pieces, Needed replacing.
This is the new motor mount(left) next to the old one(right).

This is the final product in place. Having access to a lift made this much easier.

Before the new engine mount, the exhaust was touching the frame which caused alot of vibration, new mount fixed the problem.

    Positive camber FTL

Came to find that the fuel lines were rotted and so was the fuel pressure damper. Luckily these are the Evap lines and it isn't that big of a problem.

Next i wanted to take care of some surface rust on the transmission and oil pan. Took a wire brush and brushed it for a couple minutes then took some brake cleaner to clean up the dust and debris.

Then took some silver high temp paint and sprayed the oil pan and transmission to make it look nice. and did the same with the fuel lines.

Also ran into an aftermarket muffler. Just a stock replacement but of horrid quality. It was covered in surface rust.

Next I wanted to temporarily fix the front bumper, the passenger side had a dent in it and the lip was severely damaged. I managed to pull out some of the dent and I stitched up the lip.
    before

    after

That's pretty much all I did this weekend. Still have some work to do to bring the car back to pristine working condition. turn signals and hazards don't work, came to the conclusion that it's the hazard switch that's causing the problem. Tune up is need since it has the original tune up still. Power washing the engine, new trim piece that sits under the steering wheel fell apart. And I need to find a new headunit. The stock one is locked and I don't want to bring it to the stealership. What do you guys recommend and what to avoid?
This is my first car and I love the way it's coming along now. Can't wait to get the funds for all my wants ;). Here are some more miscellaneous photo's I took.

    C&C welcome.

Looks like a pretty clean car. Don't be so sure about the mileage though unless you've got receipts. Someone swapped in an M3 speedo/odo at some point in the cars life.

The title says whatever the seller claims to the DMV. Regardless, nice car to start with...

No more like a 4 door e30, but the eta will do for now.

So I have ran into a nice deal. A 318Is bumper. Would this fit since I have the 5mph bumpers I really don't have to much of a clue.

The front bumper would be a direct bolt on, the rear requires a bit more.
