And seeing as how the rs003's are worth more than most peoples "daily driver" I can already see how budgeted this build is coming out :D Can't wait to see it! Tanforan meet on the 29th?

When I saw IS in your title, I held my breath and hoped it was an M42. Now I'm going to hold my breath until you say that you're NOT going to engine swap it ;-) Seriously, the 318iS will make the perfect daily driver in stock/enhanced form. Guys like you and Vlad are raising the prestige of the M42

LOL at the M lighted shift knob retrofit  I own a Z3 Coupe and i've re-used tons of Z3 parts I had lying around or could get cheap from the Z3 crowd. Here's my list:

                          4:10 Torsen LSD from a 2.8 Z3
                          M finned diff. cover
                          2.7 turn lock-to-lock steering rack from a non-M Z3
                          Shift lever from a 1.9 Z3
                          M lighted shift knob
                          Z3 BMW Traffic Pro radio
                          Coil-on-plug conversion using Z3 3.0 M54 coils
                          Z3 roadster antenna

                            Hey Alvin

Nice pick up man. It makes me miss my 318is so much. I'll be dropping that dash off at your friends house tonight. Looks like it is going to be an awesome project! Can't wait to see some pics a few weeks down the road once everything starts getting installed.
