If you get a 5, don't get an E39. They are more maintenance intensive than an E34. Parts are generally much more expensive.

soni drove the e46. those things are super heavy and feel so plasticy and disconnected to drive. when shifting from 1st to 2nd, car would 'pop' like crazy the guy said it was a bad engine mount. that the engine shifted back cause of engine mount being out/bad. pretty bad though. there smooth and powerful. but that pop (clunk) was just not good. I can defenitely feel the e30 lightness and connection now.

yeah pretty stoked on the bronzit. the pics in the sale ad made it look silver.
plans are tires/wheels, lower (would love coilies), tie up all the loose ends. tuck bumpers, (replace with plastic,or not), paint bumpers. situate fogs. paint stuff semi flat black. it may need a brake fluid drain or a brake master cylinder ( pressure is soft and wobbles on high speed braking) , possible silver one day spray. check oil/coolant lights are on, but they're good, so gotta sort that out. oh put my cherry wood wheel on here, Moon eyes shifter or some sort, it nice ad quiet right now; like hybrid quiet! but may look into an obnoxious exhaust wence lowered, install my old cd deck. look into a sub box hookup, may need a valve cover gasket as oil spills. Oh and a shits load of stickers!
