    The other red one...

Have been toying around with the 318is lately, and this is what it's got now...

    H&R Sport springs
    Bilstein Sport struts/shocks
    E30 M3 control arms
    E30 M3 control arm bushings
    BW RSM's
    New Tie rods
    ...etc

    Next up will be...
    Smilies/fogs from 325is
    Installing RTRS plates
    Brake job
    Guibo

    Here's some post suspension pictures...and, yes, they're all blurry/dark/low quality...it was cold, and I didn't have a tripod.

....So far, the transition from a 325is to a 318is has been relatively painless...i've had no complaints, other than the cars unwillingness to go on the highway when you're standing on the gas...but who needs that anyway. It's certainly cheaper to keep. Only other complaint that I could think of is, missing the sound of the m20 with the Magnaflow :(

BTW, want to thank Andrew for the help dropping the suspension on the e30's.

I actually like the ride height. The IS lip drops the front enough and if you could find the IS skirts theyd be perfect for that car. The 15" weaves or LSs blend well with that height and have a classic look. Not to mention the car handles better.

      I like the SCHNELL3 on the 318. ;)
      Im now E30less.

As far as the suspension goes...I wasn't looking to raise the limit too high, so I just went with Sport...they've never failed us. Not to mention I wanted something halfway practical.

LOL, yeah, the plate was off the 325...where it still wasn't exactly fitting. A new one is coming.

I'm getting tired of hearing people on this forum saying this. Anyone else?

Some people actually like having a real suspension. Not just bumpstops.

I also like the suspension setup. Not to mention my car is riding on the same system aside from the M3 CABs vs. Treehouse CABs.

The ride height and drivability is perfect on the streets imo. I don't scrape everywhere with my IS lip w/splitter.

Are you using the 325 H&R Sports springs? If so, is there any spring rate/height difference from the 4 banger-specific-springs?

Yeah seriously, not everyone can have slammed ///M POWERED cars like Denis.

Car looks decent, have fun with it and make it last more than 6 months :)

Nope, they are 318 springs...although i'm not sure if there's rate/height difference between the springs.

Wow, I need to change my cars paint, I hate how e30's become clones so easily.

I don't mind, I love red. There's about 5 modified red E30's in my immediate area.

looks good to me! of course with 14" wheels and 195 tires you're going to have more fender gap. your car makes an excellent canidate for Ronal 15x7.5" and some 225s

I wasn't talking to you about the 6 month thing; Trevor wrecked his last E30 pretty quick after he got it.

My car has been lower than yours for years now, and I haven't broken my pan either.
