Can't believe I missed this thread...I'm definitely in for the engine/trans mounts. We're getting a package of drawings out to laser cutters on Monday. We were delayed a little by going to the Paine Field airport yesterday afternoon (by the Boeing wide-body plant) to see a Grumman F8 Bearcat land and taxi into a local pilot's collection -- http://historicflight.org/hf/
Maybe Garret will post a pic or two. Nothing like a 2200hp engine into the smallest airframe possible...... kinda like an E30 with an LS1!E30-LS1 aka. 357is

We used off-the shelf block hugger exhaust headers from Sanderson. They cost us about $260 (plain finish). We explained what we were doing with our swap to Sanderson; they sent us two different sets of headers to try. We ended up using one from each set and sent the remainder back to Sanderson -- a really good outfit.E30-LS1 aka. 357is
