is it me or are all the pics of the said e30 coilover kit just generic ones that mislead you?

I'm all for modding to individual taste but the backwards skirts just jump out at me. The way it starts out low and becomes higher is just wrong. I too think it would look better if they were installed correctly but to each his own. On the other hand, since this is a showcar to show off your stuff, you might want to show the customers what the skirts look like mounted correctly and you don't want people thinking your shop can't even install their own parts correctly. Even if people don't say it, they are going to be thinking..."does this guy know he's got his skirts installed on the wrong side?"
I don't see the parts matching up like you do... what are you drinking? :drink: Of course, that would also explain why you think the hood fit well too...
And about the pictures, did you actually take them or have the rights to them? ... Just checking with you.
But really, I'd be worried about small mammals being able to crawl under that hood gap. Especially the passenger side you seem to be shy - of which there is good reason given your show car."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
