Don't leave the diving boards, they look terrible. Here's some inspiration:

Nice car. ;) I agree with CorvallisBMW. I have a zinno 88 iS as well and I put plastics on it. Totally plug and play as long as you get all the mounting hardware with them and shocks.

Plastics in Zinnoberot are hard to find as they only came on '89 cars. Joey Link has a rear one for sale, shoot him a PM.

car looks great. don't paint the rockers and don't paint the bumper shroud. I saw a car that did that and like dude said before it makes it look like a cheap quick job. tucking bumpers is real simple. i used a sawz all and cut the shock til it started dripping but i am sure drilling a hole would work too. I would skip that though and start looking for euro or plastic bumpers

Paint job looks nice, but if you are going to keep the 325 badge, place it in the correct spot....there is a write-up on here of the location measurements.

Other than that I like the ideas that were previously thrown around above.. Nice start keep posting pics!

I never would have caught that.

Actually now that i think of it they probably moved it when they painted it thanks

Im putting these ACS 16x7.5 when I come back from the desert. Im also looking for a nice suspension set up. Im leaning towards vogland springs/ kyb shocks because it is my daily driver. Thanks for the help
Those wheels will look great on your car. You will really like how easy they are to clean. More pics please when you get the wheels mounted.

I'm surprised it took this many posts for someone to say that. One of my biggest peeves when they are placed in the wrong location.

To be honest, i wouldn't even put the badge back on, but thats me.

I think it looks perfect as is. I'm a purist emotech fag though.

Personally I think it is bitchin' as is, and would be PERFECT with the new bumper strip and lip installed. Its an '88 so its sorta unique in a way, roll with it.
I'm not diggin' the early es/is cow-catcher for this car, but if anything, plastics would be hard to argue with...
