Its auto because he mainly concentrates on running it down the drag strip and its a hell of a lot faster with a auto doing that :P.

it actually looks kinda good the way it is.

The side markers were sprayed about 3 yrs ago and have just gradually faded to that flat red. I just haven't had the time to do anything about it.

Well I've got a turbo. Thats about as far as funds have gotten me so far, but I'm affraid thats going to be put off even more now because last night a big chunk of road debris decided to emplant itself into my sump which is only 3 months old. Looks to only have a stress crack but it is still leaking and will still cost money :(

since i use it on road rallies i'm not about to lower it any time soon, that's why it's setup so 'high' (near-standard ride height).

if i lower it i'll lose my front lip (again?) doing shit like this.

Checked the sump out on friday arvo and all is well :D I'm interested in seeing how your custom sump goes, I wouldnt mind somehow raising mine up. M42 lower sumps are hella low! (about 60mm off the ground).

Also good to see you up on here posting sam :P.

I know :( I have smacked one on my daily....Hopefully the new sump will go hella good, its going to cop the baffling and flappy doors treatment, as well as the e36 windage tray which it has. Also still retains 4.5L oil capacity :)

That sounds like a go, I'll probly look into it myself when I pull the engine to do a rebuild.

well thats very nice but we really want pics of the GT40 in front of it.

Nice results in Targa, it's not an event to joke about, just finishing is a victory.
