I can top that... at 20yrs old, I bought a 2001 Camaro Z28 LS1 M6 TTops. Full coverage through Geico was $513/mo to start. 6 Months later it dropped to $487 a month.

So $513/mo ins. ; $257/mo. payment ; 12MPG Premium (after the work I did to it) $280/mo.

Over $1000 a month for that car.. and I'd rather have my E30

Damn! you gotta pay to play I guess. I pay like $600 a year for my 2 E30's on collector car insurance...then again I am 33. That's a lot of money down the drain though. I do like E46 M3's though...very sexy, especially in white.

That number doesnt surprise me. NY insurance is ridiculously expensive. Not too long ago i was paying $260 a month on my E30. That was liability. switched insurance company and it dropped to $140.00, like the color combo. Its my favorite on a E46.
