Salvaged and rebuilder cars are everywhere, your car could have even had a lost title or an insurance claim on a stolen, in that case slap on a vin from a good wreck with a clean title and pow no more title issues.
    Yeah that's probably what happened. I've got a title on it so it's mine now. I'll just be ordering parts for a '92 instead of an '88 :)

    Yeah I'm pretty used to it by now, I used it in my MINI for years. It's a good teaching tool to keep your hands off the knob :)
