    Craigslist deal of the month

    Picked this up for $1k today! :shock: Montrealblau metallic 98 528i. Minty style 5s,etc,etc. Needs a head gasket. Saw the ad when it popped up and ran to the bank and to sellers house. There were already 3 people there looking to buy it but unbelivably i was the only one with the cash on me. The ad is actually still up on sacramento craigslist.

                                      Thanks guys,yea really lucky i guess. The lady just had some parts changed recently and didnt want to invest anymore. Obviously she didnt know the value of this car even with a bad head. It has 149k. My favorite is the color,ive never seen montrealblau in person or havent paid attention maybe, but its beautiful. This car will be for my mom,i have enough BMWs and dont have the room for more.

                                              Nice buy. We are car people but some people just don't care and rather sell off a problem rather than deal with it. The E39's have depreciated a lot since I bought mine 4 years ago ($8600 - same car w/124K and 5 speed). Still an amazing car for the money. I highly recommend them to E30 guys looking for a modern 4 door with plenty of room.
