Here's a picture of my buddy and his rx7 before our other friend crashed and totaled it. Asked to borrow it to go buy dip and put up on the curb and into a tree.
My buddy asked what the hell do I get now? I said BMW has a new car out called the M3.
Next day I brought a a page to school from the tv guide (lol, tv guide,so old school) BMW had advertising the NEW M3,showed him and that night he bought one.
    Good times after that!

Arch, this is f'ing awesome. I'm just a couple years older, so there's a good chance we partied in the same backyards. Surely I saw you car around. A few people I knew had new bimmers then (a used 320i was kinda weak). Us second tier kids had GTIs for the guys, Cabriolets for the chicks. I had a white Rabbit GTI with euro bumpers, 15" polished Ronal Turbos, Pioneer CD player, the typical shit.

That M3 on DP5s... was that kid named Augie DeAngelo or something like that? His dad owned Clothestime stores? I think he was same age as you. He got a new M3 with DP5s and the license plate said "slam" iirc. I think I partied at that kid's house, certainly partied with him in someone's backyard... you know how it was.

I demand more 80s pics nao.
lol I remember when I found a picture of my dad (then pretty young) in the early 80s when he bought his brand new Peugeot (now mine) posing in front of it with a Billy Idol t-shirt and the classic 80s persian mustache.

            Give him shit every time

Ballers for sure. My first vehicle at age 16 was a 71 Datsun. I would have hated/been totally envious of you.

lol a 25 year old connection. I went to Villa Park. Gary Dobbins isn't ringing a bell, but if he was a regular on the weekend party scene and a motorhead too then surely I'd have partied with him. Hmmm the name is getting more familiar as I type this...

The f'ing '80s were so much fun.
