Seen it before on a non-M in real life, and I'm not a fan.

thanks for the input guys... when i first saw these things i didn't like it at all, but it started to grow on me... it's somewhat like the CF hood, at first i thought it looked strange with a (seemingly) black hood, but now when i see pictures without it i think "damn thats a lot of red"... I'm starting to think the same thing about the back... keep it commin guys

Just keep the plate holder you got. And worry about getting that Mtech kit on your car. ;)

I think it looks a little bit better without it. It looks good either way, but I don't think you necessarily need more contrast back there.

I like. Adds a little bit of contrast... I think I want one just to hide a few scratches from the PO till I repaint my car (at least a year away).

Glad you got one and took pics, I could never find a good pic of one on a red M3. Looks good man.

I really like it!! It looks meaner with it, distrupting the red just enough.

                    Keep it slideways!!

thanks again fellas... and on a side note it was only 24.87 from the dealer with the CCA member discount... for those of you who aren't CCA members, many dealers will give you a 15% parts discount on all purchases with your membership card... you can then get OE parts for much, much cheaper than before... anyway, i think i'll keep it on for a while, it does break up the red a bit on the back.... BMW NA only had 7 in the continental US, and for those of you with the newer tailight setup, there is only 1 in the states (the one that my dealership mistakingly ordered for me:).....) .... and on an interesting note... the newer style piece runs about $40.00 compared to the older styles 25.00

What kind of wing lip do you have on an M-tech II wing? Pics?

Ted, I like it, but I can really go either way, with or without.

i don't like it. It looks better on the later style taillights because it's the same width but on cars with early tails like the M3 it just doesn't look right unless fully covered with a euro plate like Mike Swales car. It doesn't stand out as much with a euro plate.
