I looked at the MS3 before I got my Z but was tired of FWD seeing as I was replacing the Acura CLS.

I should not have said race ready. It has stiffer, lower and better suspension components than the regular 3. My mom would also think it's super cute too. Perfect grocery getter with a little attude. My beemers and 911 can all stay ding free now. I think it's worth the sacrifice.

Completely true, I dont mind jap stuff myself. I live in a little town where everyone thinks driving a lifted up truck with mud all over it is cool, but I'm breaking a trend. Atleast u didn't buy an RX8, those are junk.

I hate to disagree but rx- always get the shit from people, upgrade the cooling system and keep your finger off the a/c button and the rotary's are so worth the fun, +1 for rwd

If they had stuck the ms3 motor in the rear wheel drive rx8, that would have been the best setup out. I really like the looks of the rx8 and can respect it's handling. But I agree, that version of rotory sucks.

if you wanted a turbo should have gone with a used sti/evo..... something of that sort. wrong wheel drive is no good.

Or how about a Lamborghini or Lotus eclipse? The cars you mentioned are very nice cars. But the used cost of those cars are as much as a new MS3. If you look at the full test results on edmonds.com, the MS3 is not off by that much considering it's FWD and cost over $10,000 less than above mentioned cars. My purchase decision was based on bang for buck. I can do dougnuts and drifts in any of my other cars if I really wanted to. But at age 38 those days are long gone. Even though all my euro cars are more than capable of burnies and such, I've never did that in any of them. So what am I losing by purchasing a fourth car that has more hp and torque than all my cars, has similar results as more expensive AWDs and happens to be FWD?

Not bad, I have not had a single problem thus far. It's a 1977 with only 80,000 miles.

The Rx8 will never live up to its older brother's potential, that's what I'm saying. Road & Track actually did a comparison with a Pontiac Solstice, RX8, 370Z and a 1 series coupe. After all the testing the rx8 came in last overall. FYI Actually I think Rx7 are bad-ass, but hey it's just me.
