yea, it exploded, the only pieces i could find were the ones still attached to the splitter. the rest desintigrated. if anyone wants to sell me their replica i'd gladly buy it off you.

btw, I checked mine against my i lip, and mine isn't even noticeably shorter. still gotta figure out how to mount it, too!

the zip ties worked great! i went 130mph to test and they didnt budge, drove for 4 days, scraped out of driveways etc. it worked well if you drill the holes through the thick part and angle in to get through. i'd mount it just like that again. the only problem is hitting things. you cant hit ANYTHING or it will bust, but regular driving is fine.

Yeah, I guess zip ties would be good enough, not like it will matter if you hit something, the zip ties will break after the lip is crushed..

btw, an is lip would hold up much better to being run over. it's pretty dissapointing that these are worse than the rieger lip as far as durability goes..

Speak to Eurostyle, he's gonna be making a fibreglass replica of the Rieger lip and everyone who's used his is lip replicas in the past has had nothing but good words (myself included), im sure his Rieger will be no different.
