    Couple bad pics of my bad car

    Went to a cottage campground with my gf's family, and saw this spot on the way back, thought I'd snap off some pics.





    And cause I know you'll ask...


    Car is an 84 318i that needs a little love still. Installed my H&R race springs last night, Have a 94 325i I'm gonna rape for the M50 Vanos and ZF over the winter.

                I plan to hold on to both :) The car was a hand-me down from my father. He's a mechanic and hates working on cars, and this one just wanted more attention than he felt like paying to it.

                The tired old m10 is smoking a bit and has less power than a stock Dodge Neon so that shit is coming out and the M50 and the trans that's attached to it is going in. I honestly don't have too much info on it but I'm pretty sure I know what I need parts-wise for the swap.

                Bought the e36 parts car wrecked for $300, sold the lsd for $200 already and found it has H&R sports and new KYBs in the rear and billies in front. Sooo free M50 swap!

                  Will probably be getting e90 spring hats and spacers for the rear. We'll see.

                      Well, it does a little lower but that still looks stock. Hats aint gonna help that much.

                        Maybe they haven't settled in yet? I'm gonna pull the spring pads in the rear next time I'm under there I think. I expected lower too, I can't see the weight diff between the early model 318 vs later models to change it that much.

                        I'm sure the M50 going in will take care of the front, but the rear should be lower. I honestly don't mind the ride height being where it is now though. Roads are bad here and it's more of a weekend track car than show car. I'm going to look at the invoice for the springs and see if I ended up getting the wrong ones or some shiz.
