    New guy here

Just picked up this 325e last weekend for $400.00, needing a slave cylinder and possibly some engine work (very high idle, needs valve adjustment, alternator bushings, probably more...) I've been wanting an E30 for quite a while and was hoping for a 325i but when this popped up for cheap I couldn't pass it up.

Plans are to possibly due a 325i headswap, push back the park bench bumpers, and maybe swap to a better rear end with LSD to make it a little more fun to drive.

Chipped ETAs with a 3.73LSD are a blast to drive, and get great fuel mileage...

        Have fun with it.

        Welcome to R3V.

I miss my eta's. Good looking car, get rid of that muffler!!! I like the color a lot.

                      ^ this.

                      looks great for $400.

clean the ICV (idle control valve) and get it smoke tested for vacuum leaks.

WELL THEN.... I have found the rust haha

Sucks... But at least I have a MIG welder. Although I wasnt exactly looking for a reason to use it...

As you can see in one of the photos, the "hole" was once covered in foam in its life. Gotta love the shade tree mechanics. They hid it quite well to be honest, they even cut the foam down to the level of the undercarriage and painted it with rubberized undercoat. Deceptive little bastard.
