As long as you drill the extra oil journals, then port the head and throw on an "i" intake manifold and TB and it'll move pretty decent.

Why not just swap in the whole m20b25 for a 50hp gain from the start?

Ah, the question that everyone asks...

Because some people don't want to do an engine swap. But if you have the means, go for it. :D

Somewhere around there, maybe a bit more. For an instant gain of that much, you could put a Jim Conforti or MarkD chip in it, and it will completely wake that motor up. Chipped etas can usually hold their own with a 325i.

The cam is going to be the same as what's in your motor now, the 528e uses the same M20B27 as the 325e.

Dude, I have a 325i cam and exhaust manifolds that you can buy with that oil pan if you want it.

have fun with it, i have a feeling that down the road you will start to like the E30 a little more than your GS-R. If you want a dramatic HP increase, buy a Conforti chip. I used to have an ETA and thats the first thing i would do if i ever bought an ETA again. Sooooooooooooo much Torque. Have fun and enjoy the RWD.
