Did you repaint your grills or are they just brand spanking new? Same with your front bumper trim .

If you did paint them, what did you use?

Not new and not painted. I used Meguiar's tire gel. Alec's and I were talking about painting the grills yesterday and at some point, I may have that done. Same with the trim, just wipe it with gel. Doesn't last for long, but it sure makes the contrast between the red and black that much stronger.

very clean car! there is nothing better than a totally clean E30 (god I wish it would stop raining for a week!).

I hope you have some sort of stone protection on those foglights.. my drivers side was brand new when I got the car, and now it's totally trashed after 3 years (stupid trucks). I want new ones but I don't need to spend $150 on shit like that. might use those cheap plastic lenses on ebay for a while instead..

oh, this might sound crazy, but I wax the trim on my car with Zymol (in the shade silly). just don't let it dry on, and for gods sakes don't try it in the sun, but a good cleaner wax will really clean up oxidized trim. shit like "Back to Black" is basically garbage, it just leaves everything all oily and splotchy for a few days. good wax will last a month..

Thanks. What wheels tho? Always been a fan of the Alpinas. Considered Kopis in the past as well. Won't do the Ronals, had those. So, what wheel would you recommend?

Not painted, they are MHW. BavAuto or BMP, can't recall which. I think Abraham-Motorsport still has some.

Did your car originally come with a airbag? or did you just change the knee bolster? Personally I think the air bag knee bolster looks way better. The regular bolster looks so cheap, and IMO it's the worst looking part on a E30. The overall car looks very clean, I like the chrome trim, I'd leave it as is, but I'd also keep the chrome Kidneys too as I'm not a fan of the black. Did you paint the needles in your cluster? Looks great but how does it look at night? A pedal kit, new mats, a custom heat shield on the exhaust manifold, and a heatshield for the cone intake would make it perfect.

Yeah, air bag car. Not sure the diff between the bolsters you are referring to.
I painted the needles, and yeah, I forgot to hit the MPG gauge, and they look fine at night. Pedal kit, yeah, mats are great except for some wear on the driver's side mat, and I have something far better planned for the exhaust manifold. Jet Hot coated Supersprint(RD) headers. I already have the headers, just don't have the money yet to get them coated($200). When I do the clutch replacement, I will do the headers then. ;)

The only reason I haven't posted until now is because I've literally been too amazed to think of what to say.

You've got possible one of the cleanest, smoothest, best looking E30's I've EVER seen. Of course, you already know how I feel about the wheels ( :up: ), and the rest of the car is just perfect in every way. I spent 20 minutes last night just gazing at the pics, they are really good as well.

And if those wheels ever do go anywhere, you know who you're emailing first.
