    My New Sled

So my family is growing with a new baby due anyday now. So I had buy a car that would accomidate everyone. This is what I ended up with. As a BMW tech this model is the easiest and tech friendly as far as the new models or "New Gen" models are concerned. It swallows my garage in my condo but oh well! Safety 1st when it comes to my Family.

No need. Rear windows has sunshades that go and up down. I played with these 750li at school. BMW ADP Program! Its a ballar status vehicle. It has everything. Massaging rear seats. Rear seat controls the front passenger...etc.

Really?!? I'm not doubting, I'm just surprised. Could you explain a bit more?

Congrats on the new ride, btw

Why not an e60? The new 7-series are like boats.

Haha...well the early model E-65 of 745i-Li is a techs/& owners worst nightmare. With the introduction of Fibre Optics & module & module & engine design nightmares. The 745i was a diagnostic nightmare to get them repaired. The electronics on the update models 750-650-550 etc. ECU Modules and drivetrains were updated and somewhat re-designed be easier to maintain and hold its reliabilty value.

E-60 ar nice, for the features I chose the 7, the dynamic drive makes this car handle very easy. I picked this car for the "lazy" functions for my wife, auto trunklid, voice over commands etc. I have 3 kids, 10yr 5yrs & New Born anyday now. It is enough room for everyone to be comfy.

The updated E63s are awesome. The earlies.... well i think you explained it perfectly; a hellish nightmare of electronic demons.

Congrats on your purchase, and the bun in the oven!

When you say BMW tech, do you mean like a mechanic? No offense intended at all, but I didnt realize techs made enough money to afford a 750.

                            What?

Personally, I think all E65s/E66s are garbage but what do I know. Theyre nice cars when their expensive options arent broken, though. I'm a fan of the rear modules in the trunk taking down the MOST-bus after water leaks on top of them.

750s are in the mid 30s, if I'm not mistaken. Techs make up to around $90k in my shop.
