Thought id share my Touring with you.

Not done much too the car over the last couple of weeks but have gathered some parts together for the new engine.
Skimmed/pressure tested head and Vanos seals from Danthe
S50 oil filter housing
Red label 413 ECU
Genuine BMW headgasket/sump gasket and various other gaskets too
Alloy thermo housing
ITG filter and shield from Cook
M3 bulkhead panel
Vanos tool kit
Non return valve for the head
New headbolts



Still got a few other bits to get but this is a good start :D$

I'm not a fan of borbet b's but these look proper on your touring man. I see you've got a 24v coming, you'll love the power in an E30 chassis!!

Donor engine out! :D

Started stripping the engine yesterday.
Still got to get the sump,timing case and head off which will hopefully get done tomorrow.

Got more of the engine stripped off.
Just the timing case to remove tomorrow :D

Thought you might like to see this Touring I picked up today.
Was planning on it being a parts car but its a bit clean for that so will probably sell it on.
Shame exporting to the US would be so expensive.
