New wheels on - much more work to come . . .

Got my new shoes on. The Tires are about sepnt, so those will be replaced soon. Next is finsihing the bumper swap, and then onto the more serious body work - replacing the driver side door and fender, the trunk lid and getting it ready for the respray.

I knocked the IS lip off this morning. No damage - just did not get it back on for this picture.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. It's one step forward, two steps back for me today.

I get the new wheels on, knock off the lip, and then the radiator sprung a leak. I go for a short drive and come back and see a small trail of drops up the driveway and a small puddle forming.

Open the hood and it is a nice high pressure stream coming from what must be a pinhole sized leak right where the mounting tab is on the radiator. :x :x

Time to order a new one. Oh well, it is a ten minute job to replace if you don't count the drain, refill and bleed part.

You need to use some polishing compound where your old 325 emblem used to be!

Looks great, can't wait to see the finished product.

The car looks great, Dave! Very euro-style looking with the slight rake, and the wheels.

I could never run those wheels though, I would never get over the fact that one side is spinning the wrong direction. :D

Actually, that trunk lid is getting replaced. I am deleting the third brake light. Thanks for the advice, though.

That's becoming one of my favorite cabs. Get that rear bumper on. ;)
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

I'm loving the color of the car, but I'm not sure about the rear lights. :|

Yes. They will look better when the swap gets done.

Damn those rims look good. Its nice to see them on another car, they look different to me for some reason.
