Hey man,
With 6g's you can do alot of work with that e30.
Im in the area and started buildin my e30 late last year. Check out my thread here.... http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=168404
First things first take care of any maintenance...
Then start the upgrades with suspension and move on from there. Replace any of the bushings that need to be replaced, etc. This is the best mod in my opinion for an e30 to start making it into a fun driver.
After you decide which route your taking for suspension you can see what you have left over after that and maintenance for performance and asthetic mods. I emphasize suspension first because a fast e30 with stock suspension would be dangerous if ever driven near its potential.
All in all looks like a great car to start with. Let me know if you ever need any parts I still have a good deal of extras from the last car I parted out.Comment

Looks like the po or you did a number on yanking stuff out of there!
That green connector you are holding with the blue wire clipped off goes into the back of the instrument cluster.
The two wires coming out near the shifter plug into the other two different colored wires on the right of the shifter with the same long white rectangular plug.
Those are your reverse light sensor wires.
Looks like the window switch base plugs are near your center console area.
All those twisted wires/rats nest under the dash is associated with that viper alarm.
Good luck and don't get ahead of yourself with mods.
Get it right first.Comment

omg.. Ok, I had an aftermarket alarm installed in mine too and I thought mine was a hack job :/. I feel better now aha. I just recently cleaned up the wiring as well.
I have some front control arm bushing lollipops I can give you for free so you can push in some fresh bushings if you want.2008 335i - n54b30
