    WTG Olsen!

Well deserved spotlight for a great car, and a driver that can really wheel it! WTG, Mike!

My first thought when I saw the note from Little Joe, was "that's really sweet!".

Second thought - I don't think that's allowed per Pro3 rules. Come on - show me where it says we can have cute notes from kids in the car ...
    :)

    Cheers!

You forgot to mention the Nastynick.net sponsorship. Car wouldn't be as fast without it!

Good work Mike. I remember coming to get some parts off you years ago when you were talking about turning that car into a PRO3 racer.

Come to think of it, your first experience with PRO3 was me pounding out massive dents in the unofficialbmw car :)

Too funny, Nastynick! I didn't know that picture existed. That was my first introduction to PRO3 and Dale. And now look at me. A PRO3, e30 junkie, and now Dale I are regular Enduro teammates...

Such a cool car! I want to get into racing in my E30 soon. Notes on the door really make the car!

This pick is actually inspiring. it isn't pretty & gorgeous like the other picks of the month. Alot of hard work.. but alot of fun acquired from it. This e30 sent through hell.. but is representing.

What seat and harness are you running now? Looks like you have or had both Corbeau and Sparco seats and Corbeau and Schroth harnesses. What were there reasons for the changes?

I started with Corbeau seats and 5-point Sparco harness. In ICSCC racing, our seats do not need to be certified by either SFI or FIA so there's some flexibility for car builders.

When I built the car, the budget was tight and I found a good deal on a couple of fixed-back Corbeau seats and used those (the passenger seat for instructing days/coaching). That particular seat had something in its construction that felt like a bar going across the middle of my back (spine) so I replaced it.

The seat I use today is a Sparco seat and is more comfortable, but may again be replaced this next season. I'd like to get the weight of the car down a bit and the seat is pretty heavy compared to other models available now.

The harness is now a 6-point Schroth Enduro harness with the HANS straps. It's a great harness and one of the best on the market. As the name implies, it's a good setup for endurance races where quick driver changes are a must.
