Not yet. It's still on the steptronic sadly. I'm figuring out a swap now (basically the whole reason why I bought an E30 to begin with). Looking for a decently priced 6 speed out of an M3.

i did mine happy with it .I will be selling it maybe if i sell my S/C m3.
reason being my new addition is a e30 m3.
i do love the super eta but 3 bimmers all souped up just $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Got a few small things done this week

The car got re-tinted, 20% all the way around. The old tint was turning purple, distorting, and the back was half-torn off by the previous moron owner.


New pedals.


Also purchased another set of tail lights, again to fix some half-a$$ed hackjob by the previous owner. I was content with leaving them orange/yellow until I saw Maksim's thread, where he followed a DIY to paint them all red. So I got to working.

Kpeng demands quality, these tail lights look like crap, and I'm throwing them away.


All taped off and ready for paint. I used Testors model paint (Candy Apple Red) and then some Testors Clear Lacquer (available at your friendly neighborhood hobby store)


Sanded with 1000 grit, cleaned, 1 coat of adhesion promoter, 2 coats of paint, 1 coat of clear later.


Not sure why the pictures make them look more yellow than they are, I assure you they look red in person. Great match.

It's not that exciting, but I'm building a cupholder/cellphone holder in place of the ashtray. I need a drink holder for the daily!

There are no options out there, either I buy some stupid screw in/fold out piece of crap, or some overpriced $95 piece...

So I just decided to build one.
