just installed the winters, proper spacers & centercaps.....and threw the snowboard attachments since i might be boarding up north this wkend.

forgot how much of a pain the rear wheels are to remove after being on there all summer....didn't help that its 30 degrees outside.

Definitely the best looking IX I've ever seen hands down.

Really in amazing condition. A winter car from CT!! Can't wait til my IX coupe is de-rusted - I have a massive project ahead of me. You definitely give me hope. Thanks for that!

I never thought about Alpinas on an IX due to offset. Yours look perfect. 16" wheels are just right on this car.

Wonderful work on the seats. About to take on the same project so really appreciate all the pictures! I'll reference this thread on mine.

Great snag on the houndstooth interior btw. LOVE it. I went new houndstooth on my vert and couldn't be happier. You may end up needing another coupe to run those 2 interiors :-)

So far so good! No vibrations and it seems like a solid quality piece.

why did you need a spacer? I could barely get mine back on.

Haha thanks for the comments! Trust me the idea of scooping another e30 simply to put the other interior in it, has def crossed my mind. Tough to choose which I like better.

The front drivershaft only slips into the transfer case about 1/2 in. I stripped a shaft, so this spacer in essence gives it more bite by pushing the shaft further into the case.

Well the houndstooth is clearly hard to find now and since you can't really replace it, maybe it's not a good choice for a DD.. Took me a year to find my vert HT cloth, and it was the only roll left. I think Levent has access to some blue and grey HT though.

I think I read about that in nando's build thread. Seems like something all IX owners should do - definitely anyone that builds out their motor.

Sweet build man, that respray turned out awesome. Not sure if it's already been mentioned, but where'd you get that black splitter mounted on the bottom of your IS front lip?
