Thank you OMG Motorsports (Denis & Al) for the awesome install! Some modifying to the brackets were needed, since it was tucking too close too the valence. I absolutely love this exhaust over the Remus. Throaty & aesthetically so much nicer!

lol... and those slider radios are *really* hard to find now.

yeah stock premium amps are not worth fixing. went through 3 of those myself. sucks to cut that premium harness but you can do it at the rear seat to keep it clean. wish someone made a harness adapter.

btw I really DO like the look of your pioneer - all the edges are flush too which is really hard to do. we've already established your style leadership credentials for E30s hahahaha.. it's on my list for sure.

funny you mention that.. I was putting the stock unit back in yesterday - my 6th slider radio, and this one actually worked perfectly. sounded great with an aftermarket amp!. anyway buttoning her up... and she goes dead. no power. had to take it apart - power supply board inside the radio died.

so now it's on the back burner. will be taking them apart to get 2 CM5908 sliders working out of the 6 I have. we'll see.

ps the new headunit is amazing. I would strongly recommend it, and the color is an EXACT match to the rest of the lighting in the car. Just changing the headunit alone brought life to the stock speakers. Wish I had done it sooner.

that's definitely a nicer FOB than the REC-43T I use. Please do post details, and also confirm you have the trunk release working... I assume panic doesn't work, and that you don't have the lights and horn connected?

PS: you can still get brand new BMW key blanks, both the original kind with embossed bmw logo (like in your pic), and the modular one with lighted head.

the trunk release & panic button I didn't use, just the lock and unlock ones.

I actually have 5 sets of original keys that came w/ the car including a wallet sized one & the lighted head. I'm saving those, and using the most beat up one (in the pic) ;)
