I hit a bump on the freeway and the strut tube separated itself from the steering knuckle. The caliper then rotated into the wheel and locked it up at 75 mph or so. Pulled me to the right with tire smoke and everything. Used the ebrake to come to a stop on the shoulder. Oil pan is fine (yay) It bent the tie rod, ripped the ball joint out of the control arm, sheered the stainless steel brake line and ruined my alpina and the tire. Plus the strut tube (of course)

Is the tube originally pressed? in or welded from the bottom?

Its an original strut tube. Has 200k+ on it.

Yeah I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary but I don't really know, it happened very quickly.
