I started to polish my window trim this weekend. Its going to look good once it is done. I am getting a new drivers side front bumper trim and plan on fitting my original one in place of the plate holder which I don't have. I have been searching around these and other forums to see what small touches do to clean things up.

I also decided to get 215-50's for the rear and 205-50's for the front. Most likely will order them sometime this week.

I really think it was it has the same listed issues as you mentioned. Engine swap, but can't start the car unless push/bump start. Glad you did not get taken for a ride on purchase price.

Good way to check how off your diameter will be. I have a buch of early chassis stuff that will be going soon if you need some stuff drop me a line.

If you plan to keep big bumpers I have this.

E30 looks like its going in the right direction, looking good!
Even though your jetta was all worked over, they still just look plain ugly to me. Not much style to the body. Good thing you moved to a classic platform :D

I will be sticking with diving boards for sure. no tucking either.

              On a sour note:
The wife and I were in her car running some errands and decided to stop home and grab the e30 and take it for a ride to grandmas house. Thanks to America's Reinvestment Act there is some construction going on and could not take the normal rt.

              Fail.

Such a bummer, Just ordered the suspension yesterday too. So I will be pulling engine sooner than I thought. I shut it off with it 10 seconds of it happening so I hope the 2.7 is safe. Now I have to decide what i want to do with the engine. I found a nice priced non-vanos m50 engine and was thinking of doing that swap, or thinking doing the 2.5 head on the 2.7 and adding some boost. ideas?

I have an oilpan if you need it. Wow nice bit of damage you did there.

i've always thought mk2 vws and e30s were stylistically very similar. e30s are just a bit more refined and better looking.
