i had them laying around and decided to put them on, thought they looked better than the contours.

The wiper motor will definitely will need to be replaced as well as the lock to the trunk and hood. I'll comeback for more when my phone charges...

oh and the cluster is easy, replace the worn out bulbs or the cell, the key hole needs a new set of locks dude. Good luck and welcome to R3V.
window lock buttons for a coupe? hmm, maybe my windows may have been locked and thats why the passenger window wouldnt go down, dont know but il check it out. thanks for all the other info also. looking forward to more

Also, If you found rust there, check your weather stripping for leakage. I'd give her a tune up before checking for other issues. Usual spark plugs, wires, oil, fuel filter ect.... As far as the other items are concerned, time for replacement parts.

          Good luck and nice e30.
          will do

Welcome, be ready to drop a couple dollhairs on that e30. But also be ready to enjoy it. That 318is isn't as peppy as your m3, but I think it might eventually sway you to the darkside. (Liking e30s more, not being gay). I just recently traded my e36 m for the 325is I have now, and I have no regrets. Also, I concur with the info that has been given to you thus far.

agree. the e30 looks better and with the e36 m drivetrain will be a killer combo..

welcome to r3v and the addiction.. once you have that 318 all fixed up, you won't be driving the M3 much i bet :)

Even though e36's aren't my favorite, this is one clean m3. Nice car, enjoy the e30 too!

If somehow you were involved in an accident and your e36 was totaled, you could buy it back from insurance for next to nothing then swap everything into your e30. This is only hypothetical, so dont go getting any insurance scam ideas.

The greatest honor that could be bestowed on an e36 m3 is to be parted out for a alpine white e30. Ask me how I know!
