Welcome to r3v! I'm jealous of your E30.

Not to thread jack, I just want to put up an argument for type As on an E36. It can look good.

Nice pickup for a beater. You will have a lot of fun in the snow.
      You are correct. E30 318's aren't special.

      E30 318is's are.

Both cars look great man! I'm missing my e36, e30 just doesn't seem for me, so if you get that feeling you are not alone lol

That is a lot better. Looks decent on that one.
Like I said before, op's massive height/wheel gap killed it from the start.

I still think they look better on an e30, type A's just work better on I guess a boxier car? lol

winter beater ftw. the "window lock" is actually a circuit breaker. i have no idea why.

If you drive your e30 on stairs, you're gonna have a bad time.

Good thing you got the plastic bumper. I really like the way it looks. BTW if you still got some money laying around do a S50B32 swap. It'll give your E36 a run for its money!

yeah id love to do a s50b32 but chances are il just have a s52 laying around. and yeah the type a's would have looked alot better if i had a drop, proper tire fitment and flat caps, but at teh time i had them i was saving up for a ski boat so car mods were out of option.
