Pursuade me to paint my plastics!

So I'm tossing up the idea of painting all the plastics on my car to body colour (Bumpers + trims, side mouldings, mirrors)
Everytime I decide I want to go full painted I see an car pulling the colour/black contrast really well but with my car being delphin, the whole contrast thing is a little harder to pull off compared to say an Alpine.
So show me your painted bumpers/mirrors/trims ect. So torn..

If it were anything other than delphin, I'd say leave it. I love black bumpers. But you do make a point with the not-so-contrasty black on grey.
If you do paint them body color just do the bumper and not the trim or mirrors, it just looks bad with everything body colored, IMHO. If you do though, you MUST shadowline the window trim.

shadow line the window trim and match the mirrors, it'll make a world of difference.

Don't ruin ! +1 for shadowline and suspension. Wheels give it enough "delphin" so to speak. No need for more.

I'd paint just the bumpers body color to match, not the trim. I think the problem is just that the slightly mismatched bumpers look funny.

paint em, you know also how crappy 316i cars are-- black bumpers look cheap and crappy. paint the mirrors at the same time.
outside of the u.s. they are like having diving boards with warped plastic surrounds!
