Man, I didn't realize how much work was in this car.

Also, jealous of your component speakers, I went all cheapie and just got their co-ax's.

you should so it won't come out so crunchy. brushing it separates the strands and you can get in there really nice where the dye goes through deep.

    Installing my new Sound System

Time to upgrade the sound system. Went with Alpine Amplifier and Polk Audio Component Speakers.

I bought a Nakamichi headunit from another member here and turns out there was only one RCA output. So I made my own harness for the speaker level input for the amp.

I was gonna install it underneath my seat but there was not enough room so it went into the trunk.

The crossovers were installed on top of the DME and underneath the ABS module.

    Installed the tweeters with epoxy.

Enlarge the hole on the housing by tad bit using my router that I installed upside down on a piece of wood.

    Perfect fit now.

Before installing my sound system, I dyed my carpet black. Using 5 of these:

Now all I need is the subwoofer.

Nothing better than silicone hoses. Group buy soon to happen. PM for inquiries.

yes it does make a difference. it straightens out the rears quicker in a turn... at least for my car. i'm sure other people will have their own 2 cents about it. But I'm just speaking for my own experience.

yup, you're right. I'm just waiting for my silicone hoses to arrive. Will be doing a group buy for it soon. It will be packaged for all hoses together.
