There's nothing M Tech about that car other than the sides/rear bumper/apron. The only blue M Technic vert is Macao Blau, which rules out all of the possibilities unless it was repainted. I doubt it originally had M Tech interior (even if they do the seats what about the leather consoles, door panels?) and they switched from shadowline to chrome trim? I'm skeptical.
Cabrio330 is right. They also made a black/black appearance package which seem to be more rare than the white ones. Both started production in 91 as well.Last edited by reelizmpro; 01-14-2011, 02:33 PM."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

im with the crowd on this one. Its a nice car and i would like to have my cabbie that color, but i dont think its really anything close to m-tech. its got a standard "i" valence and lip. why would you go from mt2 to standard? i also dont an see mt2 apron. im guessing he just got the skirts, pods, and spoiler.sigpic

To the people who are talking about if its a real m-tech or not... it is not
In the beginning, there sat a 91 325 Cabrio, auto, all alone, unwanted w/a blown oil pan, bent control arm, flat tires, ripped top, trashed interior, sun damaged, good body in Arizona on Craigslist. I negotiated the price down to $700. I got home and saw another, a white one, on Craigslist. 17in TSW's, wheels, supersprint exhaust, from tip to manifold, H&R lowering springs, Billsteins in the rear, with Koni adjustable shocks in the front, new control arms w/poly bushings, 5 spd setup w/a chip. The guy had it set up for BMW CCA racing. His project wasn't finished. I bought that one also $500 I converted everything over to my 91. After I was done with conversion, a few months later, I stumbled onto an original M Tech bodykit. The guy was parting out his black 325 cabrio in a barn. It was kind of dark in there, I was picking up the release latch for the convertible top when he happened to mention it had a nice steering wheel with an M emblem. I then step back from his cabrio & noticed the M package. I kept my cool & said how much do you want for these little body trims. He said I don't know make me an offer. So I did. LOL:D. I offered him $150 it was all there minus the front bumper, He included the trunk w/lip spoiler. You gotta love Craigslist.......Here are my pictures. Its still work in progress

I have that same color vert. Only difference that mine has the blue interior also. One of my favorite colors on a E30, but definitely not a Mtech vert.sigpicComment

Thanks to Erik j for finding my post on e30tech.com. Thanks to all the guys doggin my 91 325 Cabrio. I never stated it was a M tech. As my posting stated it was a 325 that I was able to find all the right parts for. The interior was originally grey leather that was all sun damaged due to the extreme heat in Arizona. Derek "Jhohn" happen to see my add on c/l for my 91 318 for sale & noticed the Mauritiusblau conv. He has one also. I found him on this site & informed him I would post pics as soon as i can get this activation issue taken care of. He liked the car & tried to help out on the forum to get me activated. They couldn't do it so I am signed in now under "qccabrio". Its still work in progress, I am looking for the front bumper & valence
One last thing to all the M tech experts I am looking at a 91 325 cabrio, white, white leather, white panels, and an auto. Is there anyway to verify if its the real deal, VIN EC26601.

Hey man, welcome aboard. Don't be offended, no one was ragging on your car. Teaguer made an M Tech reference and we had to clear it up. There's a lot of misinformation out there and we were just trying to set the record straight. Thanks to Erik j for finding my post on e30tech.com. Thanks to all the guys doggin my 91 325 Cabrio. As for the white M Tech, I believe the owner has it for sale on this site. Having white interior (Lotus?) with an M tech kit and being triple white, that's an appearance package car."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
