nice job! i am going to go SR in my E30 one day too i reckon. I have a 318 as it is so i already have a 4cyl so i will stick with that, and the size and weight of the SR is also an attraction.
plus no offence to traditionalists but the power you gain by going SR with a cooler, exhaust and boost controller will smash pretty much all of the BMW engine swaps :P haha

Did you get your mounts from the shop in Thailand? They are really stout wicked price too
I just ordered my mounts from Thailand last week for my SR swap. Just waiting on a new clutch and some seals then I will start the swap. hope to have the car on the road by the end of the month. Will see how much work interferes with my plans
Driveshaft was made in the states. I think standens in calgary can make you one.
My driveshaft is one piece, less shrapnel if it explodes.
I had the thailand dudes send me images of an installed SR in an e30. Its sits quite a bit further ahead than mine. My engine is about one inch from the fire wall.

I will tell you how far it sits when my mounts get here as the motor will probably get dropped in that day.

Just got them in the mail today and.........Not impressed with the quality. I will be making my own. The welds look like somebody broke open an areo chocolate bar and glued it too my mounts. Quality does not look like it is there. Gonna compare the tranny mount with the mount out of the e30 and the silvia to see what it came out of. Since it is a stock mount for something just with two holes drilled in it and rust on it..... Not worth the money or the time spent waiting for them to arrive.
