    My New 325ix Bitches!!!!

Ok so heres the new ride. Its been two years of gas guzzling hell in my black Pathfinder that you can see in the background. However, yesterday I picked up my new 1988 325ix. Lachsilber or however you spell it, either way it looks hot. I know im going to get flamed for the rims, but hey the price was right and they came with brand new tires, so Ill take em. This is the only pic I got for now, and I only did a quick detail job on the ride cause theres way to much pollen floating around NH at the moment. Anyways enjoy.

Id also like to ad that its got the original factory is spoiler in the front, never damaged. Lets see your 215k beemer say that!

I predict a flat black tail spoiler. My E30 had the same problem.

      Nice starter-car.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

You got it, no clue how to get rid of that fading paint though. When it goes in to get the rust removed I think hes going to repaint

looks pretty good, but those wheels are goofy with the stock ride height.

The rust is being taken care of in a few weeks. Im going to drop it but probably not for a while. Maybe a christmas present to myself or something. At this point Im just going to make it a perfect runner to last me through college, then Ill start thinking about mods. It did come with an AC Shnitzer or however you spell it chip in the trunk, so Ill probably pop that bad boy in tomorrow and see if its really worth paying for premium.

If I do go with suspension, itll be something mild like H&r Sports with Biltsteins, but more likely M3 springs and Boge Turbos. Figure thatll be a bg difference on an Ix.

Should have went with these wheels instead, they match the ride height better

actually if you have to drive that thing in northeast winters, I'd consider leaving the suspension stock, or getting coilovers. people here may laugh, but they'll be sucking down your exhaust fumes as you leave them behind in the snow. a smaller wheel would look more appropriate with the stock ride height (17" is goofy no matter how you slice it).

Yeah I know. Im eyeing the 16" Kosei K1's on tirerack that are in Ix fitment. Only 159 apiece! That wont happen for a while though. Might put the rims up on the bay and see what they pull in.

Sell the rims and buy suspension, looks worse than stock right now...

ok ok ok I know the rims suck! haha, they came with the car and the price was right. BTW, they only weigh 16 lbs, so thats gotta be a plus in some aspect. Ok I guess Im stretching it.
