              shit shit shit......mother fucker

my dad just took it out and came back saying its doing the same thing it was before so i go and look at it and the clutch arm wont go back but thankfully when i unbolted the master cylinder the arm popped back so it was just the slave that was keeping it from going back shit inside the bellhousing that i didnt put together right. So i guess i should replace the slave cylinder??? but how do i know its not something else?

Ok well i just loosend the bleed screw and the slave pushed right back in. So i think maybe the clutch pedal came all the way out but the slave didnt then the clutch was pressed again? anyone know a general tech forum where i can get some quick help on this?

did you bleed the clutch? it is a hydraulic system you know...

there shouldnt have been any need. I didnt undoo or take apart anything from the hydrolic system except for taking off the slave cylinder from the bell housing and the lines were all still attached. The amount of pressure on the pedal was greater then before (better and stronger pressure plate). I think just somehow some extra fluid got in there.

this is what i wrote on another forum

I undid the bleed screw while applying pressure to the slave and fluid came out and the slave retuned to the normal posisition. So some how some extra fluid got in there. It seems like the slave probably didnt return all the way for some reason while the pedal did then when the pedal was pushed again extra fluid was put in but it could be something else.

Why don't you just let your dad deal with it?? It is his afterall, and he's hopefully more intelligent than you.

                          he dont know

The position of the arm is adjustible so he just wants to move it out but i think that will just be a temporary fix for the problem. Extra fluid is still getting in there

and dont dis cause i dont think you could fix it either

he was actually the one that messed it up, both times

and everyone would know this car just as well as i did.

and guess what? my dad has a job too!!!

Seriously guys, why do you have to hate on anyone with anything nicer than what you got? Who cares if it's his dad's, and who cares if he's working on it instead of having a shop do it? Read my sig quote.

Some of you guys really need to remove your heads from your asses, or someone else's ass. Grow the fuck up.
