Wow, fantastic engine build! I love it. Consider moving the battery to the trunk, you'll get better weight distribution. -
4.10s work great with a higher RPM powerband, and with 235's for sure. I've had cars with smogger gears in the past, no thanks..Leave a comment:

I actually would like to find and try a viscous 3.91 from an IX. I have had a 3.46 and a 3.73 installed but like the 4.10 the best so far, at least for how and where I drive. I think the 4.10 along with the larger diameter 235's is a nice compromise.Leave a comment:

loved the 4.10 with my m20 and maf conversion, this thing must rip.
Props on the proper tires and wheels and beautiful car all around.
now lets see some vids!Leave a comment:

Holy fuck nuggets!
That's one serious m20! Must be a blast to drive, and it has to sound sick!
My only qualm with your set-up is the gearing. The 3.73 + 260 on a strong m20 is perfect, a 4.10 with your set-up is overkill IMO.
Find a 3.46 and you will enjoy a much nicer powerband! :up:Leave a comment:

The rear calipers are The DynaPro Lug Mount (DP) forged billet caliper, the fronts are their DP6 caliper, I can dig up the piston sizing I used front and rear if you want. The APEX wheels are awesome...I've had many different wheels over the years and these are by far the best fitting (and looking) IMO. I did add additional inner fenderwell clearance in the front to increase the turning radius and I had rolled the lips both front and rear in the past, neither of which may be necessary but I did it anyway. I may even have a detailed and dimensionally correct drawing for the caliper brackets that you could use.Leave a comment:

Thanks - do you know what model of Dynapro caliper you're using?
Wilwood Engineering manufacturers a wide variety of different lightweight, high performance, and extremely durable aluminum calipers in small, medium and large sizes.
I could figure out the adapter brackets.
Also, how do you like the APEX wheels? I've been looking at these for autocross/track.
Thanks!Leave a comment:

Wow awesome build!! Your attention to detail is exceptional and the engine setup is absolutely unreal! I can't wait for a video. Oh and I also want a set of arc's now because of you!! Great job!Leave a comment:

Awesome, that's a well built car. I like these long-term projects.
I'm interested in how you did your rear brake setup. It's not a Massive setup? I'm looking for something very similar.Leave a comment:

It would take some farting around on MY car...I only said this because my car is an early pre-facelift body with late model bumpers and most of Ary's stuff at DTM is designed to fit the late model E30's....My custom exhaust makes the exhaust cutout on the rear apron an issue also as I tried to tuck the muffler up as high as possible under the valence so the tip is higher than normal.
The fit shouldnt be much of an issue if your car is basically stock.Leave a comment:

Very nice car !
Do you autocross and/or attend any hpde events with it, how does it perform? The head work looks nice!Leave a comment:

I have a question regarding The dtm rear aprons? You said would be lots of work to fit... I was looking it to doing so on my swap in the rear, but how much work does it look like to you?Leave a comment:
