yea, they would work but you won't be running very wide wheels... BBK's are not needed on an E30, IMHO. The E36 M3 bakes have a TON of bite and plenty of cooling for the 400lb lighter E30 chassis.

why? Does it push the wheels out further or bring them in? I was thinking maybe 7" or maybe 8" in the back with pulled fenders. You think i would need fender flares? or would pulling do the trick?

Ryan, when have you felt the need for upgraded brakes? You don't track your car do you? Surely you don't over use M3 brakes on the street.

Think about it... can you ever really have too much braking ability? When you need to stop you NEED TO FUCKING STOP.

My brakes are adequate, but I'm still doing massive brakes front and rear because man you just need to stop sometimes. That and filling out wheels with brake rotor look good :)

The man has a good point. I'm a firm believer that you can never have too much stopping power.

Except on the 318. Those don't go fast enough to require brakes. Most of them just carry ornamental brakes.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

I wanted the brakes more for the larger bling factor.
I keep warping rotors on the stock M3 brakes, so I wanted something better and these were a good deal.

Great stuff Ryan 8) That is a heavy duty set of cams.

Did you have to fabricate anything in the hub area to fit the E36 rotors? I agree that it is a great mod, my dad put stock E36 M brakes on his E30 M3 (street pads), and it had anchor stopping power from high speeds, and it worked great for him on the track.

If you want to save more weight Ryan, european-spec floating rotors are a few pounds lighter per side--though about 2x the price.

I was going to buy the floating rotors because they look bling bling, but the calipers I bought came with these brembo rotors that had less than 1k street miles, so I figured I would use them for now and then buy the floating rotors later.
No fabrication of the hub, just had to put on the 12mm spacers from SBI to make the rotor sit at the right spot for the caliper to be bolted to the stock spindle mount.
