Nice to see someone else into detailing as well. Looks great! I can vouch that it is all in the prep work. Proper masking is a must. I have been paid to do a few cars but it is just so much work. 20+ hours in some cases ...
Good job on the painting too. That is something I have been interested in for a while, but have never got around to doing.

Awesome work! That Griots orbital system works incredibly well. I've done my current car with it and the outcome is pretty phenomenal. Hopefully picking up my first E30 this week and actually looking forward to detailing the hell out of it.91 318is M50 swapped

You may have noticed my shitty basketweaves sans caps
Paint looks wonderful man, you've inspired me to follow through with touching up my own paint. Looks like you didn't have to deal with any rust so that's always a plus. Looking forward to pics with new wheels. For all things 24v, check out Markert Motorworks!Originally posted by mbonanniI hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.

nice work man. I've detailed for several years now, but much like others here I've been thinking about doing small paintjobs myself for years...still haven't pulled the trigger on some equipment. when you said you touched up the scratches before sparying, did you actually use filler or just add paint to those grooves?

Here is a shot of a 2" wide spot that had no paint and surface rust had been forming. You can barely tell anything was there...
