I was pulled over on I5 by a WSP last spring for no plate and got a warning. I wasn't speeding or doing anything at all so he must have been bored... He said that I could stick it on the dash or whatever so that it could be seen from the front.I had it on the dash for one drive and it was sliding all over the place. I usually drive with my visors down anyway so I took a few big rubber bands and stuck the plate on the visor, works great. I drive about 200 miles a week on I5 and 405 so I've seen a fair number of WSP and haven't been bothered since...

interesting. i couldn't go a week without getting stopped by either WSP or local PD when i lived in Anacortes, WA. Tried it with my Honda and getting pulled over was almost a daily occurrence. Haven't tried removing it while in Oregon since i didn't feel like getting hassled in a new state.
I might try the dash/visor thing since i really dislike the look of running front plates.Comment

I might try the dash/visor thing since i really dislike the look of running front plates.I think the visor lets them see it better than putting it on the dash, its higher and with some light from the front it reflects back really good. Maybe it will become the r3v plate spot.
