    New Owner's intro thread

Hey guys, I've been lurking for about 2 months and have finally found a decent E30 in this wretched state (NJ) and I couldn't be happier with what I bought. It's a 91' 318is with the cleanest interior I've ever seen. Body needs a little love but nothing un-managable :D Color is Diamond Schwartz? with leather interior and it needs a suspension upgrade, hood has rock chips, and the rear valance has some rust. I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking.

BTW car needs some refreshing of the suspension, what route should I go? Coilovers? New springs/struts?

Yeah, I love the M42 right now but sooner or later I'm going to be yearning for more power

Right now it has a few leaks here and there but I'll address all of that when I fix the accessory belt.

I'm in the same position as you and am probably gonna go with JOM coilovers. They're cheap, everyone says their good for street use, and they go real low.

I'm not really into going real low, but something sustainable for the time being. Good luck with your JOM coilovers but I think I'll stick with new springs setup. Once I get around to it, I plan on doing a 5-lug and it's getting coilovers then ;).

Very nice aquisition. I've always wanted a well sorted Diamantschwartz 318is. Keep it simple and classy and before you know it you'll be getting plenty of envy headed your way.

Thanks, I've never had any interest in flashy cars especially not flashy E30's. The clean simple look always appealed to me and all of my cars will be similar in that fashion. I love your M3, I wish I could find a spare S14 that I could swap in.
