A clay bar is not a polish, it is intended to take the dirt and shit out of paint.

You should clay bar, rubbing compound, and wax at a minimum. It WILL shine after this.

I prefer 3M for the compound and wax.

I have been witness to this process, it works great specially on red cars. Give it a try, you'll be amazed at what $30.00 worth of detailing products and a lot of elbow grease can do.

Have you thought about, maybe getting one of those fiberglass M-tech replica rear aprons? That might clean up the look for your ride. I think eurostop sells those, anyway your car is looking real good dude.

Yes, I've looked into the aprons but I really like the stock valance look. I'm going to take one from a late model and fabricate it to fit mine. I've already researched it and have all the right tools. I'm just waiting to find a good valance at a yard so I can chop it off.

bumper swap sweet!, but replacing the barney burp trim also works for these cars, they look great either way. I miss the simple life of a 325e/es

                            really nice transformation.

not to be harsh, but most people arent rocking the BBS RAs because most people think they are ugly. convex rims ftl.

gold rims look really nice on r3d cars though.

Yea its pretty simple but the car took a shit on me on the freeway yesterday. No throttler response, with engine shake. Pulled over now it cranks but won't turn on. Swapped the AMF, swapped the fuel pump, still nothing. :hitler:

UPDATE: With a new fuel pre pump and some carb cleaner got the sucker to fire up and work again.
