Roads are bad everywhere, people using them as excuses are lame. I've driven this car through the center of NYC at this height and didn't break anything. Granted, I wouldn't let my mother drive it, but as long as you pay attention like you should be you won't have many problems.Byron

Truth.
People say the same thing about socal car people going super low..."well you guys have awesome roads so you can go low" ...no we have some of the most used up traveled unkepted roads in the states... we just mod our cars this way and drive accordingly.
Low is a lifestyle.Comment

I could make it flush, but I'd have to raise it. The back is about as close to flush as I can get for now until I trim the inner lip off the rear fenders.
The front I have as far in as possible so I can turn more before rubbing. Once I get the shorter tires on I'll make them fit better. I plan on swapping the rear lips to the front and getting 2.5's for the back eventually so they'd be 9.5's and 10.5's and sit more flush.
And yeah the key to driving low is stiff springs... people complain on race's because of the variable spring rate allowing the car to flex lower I'm guessing.Originally posted by z31maniacI just hate everyone.

"who needs springs" :DOriginally posted by FredKHowever, in your absence, I will likely sit in your seat buck naked while making racecar noises as if I were maxing your E30 out on the Mulsanne Straight while allowing the perforated vinyl to soak up my butt sweat (going 200 mph does that to you).
