^ interesting. Well that shoots the idea of owning one car out the window. I suppose for an inexperienced/beginner track driver a cage/fixed back/harnesses aren't important?

Just, for the record, know I wasn't being a forum asshole, I was being serious about safety. Your safety specifically, so it shows I must care a little, to have taken the time to get the r3v collective to show you what could happen.
Yeah I appreciate that, still have a lot of plans for the car and most likely will pick up a new DD soon so this car can be track only.

You don't need any monkeybars to go AutoX. Start there. Then add to your drivers gear, shoes, helmet, gloves. Then upgrade seat/harness. Then get a cage installed when you are besting 75% of the other guys on the track.

An example, There is no reason to buy a AR-15 if you've never fired a gun. Start small, get a cheap-o .22 and then grow.

Makes perfect sense, I understand. I'm going to be autocrossing very soon, I just need to get my LSD and I'll be happy.

Point of clarification: will have to be a reclining seat with harness, like an SRD. Correct?

/sorry to threadjack spencer. I'm thinking this is useful info for you too.

Spencer, Your car is aaaaaawful nice to put on the track. Thinking that might be a great DD, and pick up something less purty for the track!
