      Well done Alex !
      Always felt BMW should have two-toned the cards from the factory.



      Extremely pleased with my efforts. Looking/feeling factory-fresh after several years now.

        Wow I agree the door cards look way better this way. Does the vinyl paint rub off? I like to use the door as an arm rest so I dont want it rubbing of on my clothes.

            No.
            .. although I recommend getting actual factory black door pulls and pockets.

              Much appreciated Simon. This thread is pretty old actually, but I'm pretty sure you and your project thread were the main inspiration behind this project!


              I did this about a year and a half ago and the paint is still holding up great. No rubbing off or any of that nonsense going on. It's all in the prep work guys...

                      That's pretty good. i did this too but the whole door card and pulls. Aside from the door cards.. i painted my rear bench that never really gets used. Been a year now too. lol

                            just repainted my blue sedan door cards to black..! works wonders! came out nice
